The 2012 IFBB Sheru Classic returns on October 5-6 – and this year promises to bigger than ever. Men’s Bodybuilding and Figure return, but the contest has expanded this year to include 212 Men’s Bodybuilding and Bikini divisions. Some of the IFBB’s biggest stars will make the trip to New Delhi, India to compete at what could be the highest-attended live event in bodybuilding history.
The contest will be held in the Indhira Ghandhi Indoor Stadium – the largest indoor stadium in India and the second-largest in Asia. The stadium holds capacity of 20,000 people.

Both Phil Heath and Nicole Wilkins will return to defend their respective titles. Like last year, most of the anticipated top five from the Olympia are slated to make the trip to India. Some of the biggest confirmed names: four-time Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler, two-time Arnold Classic champ Kai Greene, two-time Arnold Classic winner Branch Warren, three-time 212 Showdown champ Kevin English, Flex Lewis (212), 2009 Figure Olympia winner Erin Stern (Figure), 2010 Bikini Olympia winner Sonia Gonzales (Bikini) and 2011 Bikini Olympia Nicole Nagrani.
The event will also feature an expanded expo, including a Male Model Search and an introduction to Powerlifting with the Inzer Group and the Indian Power Lifting Association.
