With just four IFBB contests under her belt and just one month into her first full season as a pro, Pollianna Moss hasn’t entered many competitions playing the role of savvy veteran. But that’s just what she did amidst a rookie-heavy lineup en route to her second career win on Saturday at the Battle of the Beach Bikini Championships in Daytona Beach, Florida.
But it’s unlikely Moss underestimated any of the other 10 competitors heading into the contest, three of whom were making their professional debuts this weekend. Because nine months ago Moss struck gold in her first-ever professional contest, winning the Toronto Pro just one week after earning her pro card at the NPC Junior Nationals.
Courtney King and Aly Veneno placed second and third, respectively. King, who earned her pro card at last year’s NPC USA Championships, is 19 years old. Veneno earned her pro card at last year’s NPC Nationals. She placed fifth in her pro debut at the Pro World Bikini Championships in December.
