The Olympia Qualification Series continues, with only one competitor – Stacey Alexander – having earned a qualification to this year’s event. Alexander won the Overall here as an NPC competitor one year ago. With 13 points, Jennifer Chapman currently leads the standings and could help her cause with a top placing here. Narmin Assria (8 points), Justine Munro (4 points) and Dayne Melton (2 points) should all contend for the top spot.

MEN’S PHYSIQUE

If not for Mark Anthony, Collin Humphrey likely would have at least one Men’s Physique pro win on his resume. Humphrey has finished second in each of his three pro competitions to date – behind Anthony in each of the three. He enters New Orleans as the front runner for his first IFBB win, but he’ll face another tough challenge from Miguel Aguilar. Aguilar, who has placed third in both of his pro contests to date, finished one spot behind Humphrey at the Pro Grand Prix in March. Sadik Hadzovik won the NPC Junior USA Overall last weekend, and wasted no time jumping into his first pro event.

WOMEN’S PHYSIQUE

Coming off a win at the Governor’s Cup in March, Karin Kimura enters as the favorite. Jennifer Robinson has placed in the top five of both of her pro contests to date – 5th at the Europa Show of Champions and 4th at the St. Louis Pro – while Joele Smith is coming off a fifth-place finish against one of the deepest lineups of the year the New York Pro.
