It was a full slate of events on the NPC calendar this past weekend, with contests in California, Georgia, Missouri and Ohio. Check out the highlights from some of the weekend’s events!
MIDWEST CHAMPIONSHIPS: ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI

Held in conjunction with the St. Louis Pro Bikini, Fitness and Women’s Physique Championships, the NPC Midwest featured some of the top competitors in the region.
– National-level competitor DeCarlo Lewis, who has competed in the USAs and the Nationals, once again gained entry into a pro qualifying event by winning the Super Heavyweight and Overall titles in Men’s Bodybuilding.
– In Figure, Amanda Meyer won the Class A and Overall.
– First-time competitor Mark Olson won the Tall and Overall titles in Men’s Physique.
– Jennifer Cullen, fresh of a top-10 finish at the Arnold Amateur, Class C and the Overall in Bikini.
– Danielle Delikat, who last competed at the 2010 Jr. Nationals, won her class and the Overall in Fitness.
– Lisa Mudge won the Overall in Women’s Bodybuilding.
SAN DIEGO CHAMPIONSHIPS: SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA
Over 225 competitors took the stage at the Scottish Rite Event Center in San Diego, California this past Saturday.
– For the second week in a row, Max Vastesson won the Overall title in Men’s Physique. Vastesson, competed for the first time last week when he won the overall at the MuscleContest.com Championships in Torrance.
– It isn’t every day you see a lightweight winning the Overall, but that’s what Patrick Harrington did in winning the Men’s Bodybuilding Lightweight and overall. Harrington won the Bantamweight class at the 2011 Orange County Classic.
– Jennifer Jaques-Conn won the overall in Women’s Physique.
– Tracy Allen, won her class (Class C) here a year ago, but one-upped herself this year by winning the Overall in Figure.
– In Bikini, Megan Krynicki won the Class E and Overall.
