Can Adela Make It 8?
The arduous work in the gym, the demanding gymnastic skills and the creativity these fitness competitors bring to the Olympia stage make the Fitness Olympia one of the most entertaining divisions to watch.
With a strong line-up like the one we have this year, it is unpredictable who will take the win. Since competitors are judged both on their physiques and their routines it is fair to say that where one competitor is weak, the other one is strong and vice versa. There is one thing, however, that has remained consistent when it comes to fitness: Adela Garcia.
Adela has remained at the top of her game for quite some time now with 7 wins under her belt. There has been only one other competitor who has broken her winning streaks, Jen Hendershott, in 2005 and 2008. Adela will be seeking her 8th Fitness Olympia title this year.
Adela will be reunited on stage with last year’s top finishers Tanji Johnson, Oksana Grishina, Myriam Capes and Bethany Cisternino, as we are sure they are as hungry for the crown as Adela is for an 8th win, making this year’s Olympia an extremely exciting even to watch.
